Based on the book of the same name by English-born drummer Colin Hanton and co-author Colin Hall — custodian of John Lennon’s childhood home — PRE FAB! is considered to be the last Beatles story to tell about how it all began. The film chronicles the story of how John Lennon rounded up his friends in 1950s Liverpool to form The Quarrymen, a group that would evolve in just a few years into the biggest and most influential band in music history – The Beatles. 

After more than four years in production, this hometown sneak peek for Orlando audiences is meaningful to writer / director / producer Todd Thompson and his Stars North production company. A rough cut of the film opened the Florida Film Festival in April 2022, but this will be the first time audiences can see the final, completed film which now includes Sir Paul McCartney in the cast and a musical score featuring a playlist of over 70 skiffle and early rock-n-roll classics. 

Event includes 92-minute film and a special post-show filmmaker Q&A which will conclude at 5pm. PLEASE NOTE: Filming and photography will be taking place during the event.
